Do-Now:

Today’s Do-Now is based on the following class procedures:

Mr. Flamm’s Class Procedures:

Enter – Come to Class on time, in uniform, without disruptive noise, without complaints, without food, and without earphones.

Begin – Be seated in your assigned seat, open your laptop, and go to mrflamm.com. Follow the directions on the site for your class.

Do-Now – The Do-Now will be on mrflamm.com, and must be completed during the first 5-8 minutes of class for full credit. Each Do-Now submission has a built-in time code attached. Missing Do-Now assignments will be counted as a zero, unless made up from 3:05 – 3:13, on that day.

Class – Listen to directions. When others are speaking, be quiet and listen. Mr. Flamm will try to respond to those questions that are asked respectfully, by the raising of hands.

Classwork is due at the end of class. Homework is due by 11:59 pm.

Food, Drinks, Earphones, gum, weapons, cameras, and electronic devices besides those that are pre-approved, are not allowed. Do not stand up, except to fill out an official hall pass. Do not throw anything. Do not curse.

Restroom – You do not need to raise your hand to fill out a hall pass. Hall passes are good for five minutes. Restroom time is from after you complete the Do-Now, until five minutes before the end of class.

You will receive credit for your own original work. If you are without your laptop, you may work with a partner.

Follow the rules specified in the Official Code of Student Conduct, on the School District of Philadelphia website.

Dismissal – Remain seated in your assigned seat until the bell rings.

Late Assignments:

Classroom lectures are often presented on EdPuzzle, but all necessary links are posted on Google Classroom.

Assignments are due at 11:59 pm on due date. Unexcused lateness of assignments will be penalized at 10 percent per day late (for example, an assignment that is two days late will have a maximum grade of 80, or B-). After 9 days the assignment is worth zero points. Learners are welcome to submit assignments more than 9 days late as Merit Assignments, but not for class credit.
