Why are we in the IMC today?

Today is the last make-up day before the end of the marking period.

If you have not done the Comic Life assignment, read below.

If you have completed the Comic Life assignment, make sure you have completed
Persepolis 1 through Persepolis 4.

See Mr. Flamm for Details.

Comic Life Assignment:  Student Examples Can be found Here

Create a rough 1 to 2 page comic, celebrating all that is good in your life right now (MyLifeIsGreat) or lamenting all that is bad in your life right now (ForgetMyLife). You can also create a fictional character and describe his or her life.

Then, open Comic Life (under Applications) and begin making a digital version based on your rough sketch.

If you need help with Comic Life, HERE is a help page with tutorials. Or you could search "comic life help" in Google.

You can use Pixlr to edit images for free online.

Here is the example that I showed in class:

3. You must print the document out (5 cents per page in the IMC).

4. You must have at least six panels.

5. You must submit the Rough Draft (My rough draft is below).

Late Assignments:

Classroom lectures are often presented on EdPuzzle, but all necessary links are posted on Google Classroom.

Assignments are due at 11:59 pm on due date. Unexcused lateness of assignments will be penalized at 10 percent per day late (for example, an assignment that is two days late will have a maximum grade of 80, or B-). After 9 days the assignment is worth zero points. Learners are welcome to submit assignments more than 9 days late as Merit Assignments, but not for class credit.
