Objective - You can use an online image editor to create a setting map.

Now! - you may use OneNote to complete this assignment (see videos on Edmodo).
If using OneNote, make sure your font is size 8.

Follow these steps:

1. Watch the How-To Video on Edmodo.

2. If you are using Explorer or Firefox, Right Click the map above, and select Properties, and copy the URL of the image (see image to the right):

If you are using a better browser, just right click and Copy Image URL.

3. Go to http://pixlr.com/editor/

4. Select "Open Image from URL"
 (it looks like the image to the right)

5. CTRL-V to paste the URL in the blank.

6. Use the Type tool in Pixlr to write (under Africa, in 20 size font): 
World Literature Setting Map 
by Your Name Here

7. Save your Pixlr document as "YourLastNameSettingMap"

8. Use the https://www.google.com/ to research the questions listed on the right. Use https://maps.google.com/ to find where this location is on the world map.

9. Right Click on the corresponding book image to the right and copy its URL.

10. Click File in Pixlr to open a new image from URL.

11. CTRL-V to paste the image URL and open it.

12. Place the book cover in an ocean near its setting.

13. Use the Line tool to draw a line from the book cover image to its approximate setting.

14. Use the Type tool and 10 size font to identify the setting near the endpoint of the line.

15. Complete steps 8-14 for the remaining nine book covers (Anya's Ghost is done for you).

16. Email your completed map to:
