Today: If you have not yet turned it in, work on the Final POU (6 paragraph essay) assemble the paragraphs of our previous POU stages, using transition words.

In addition,  write Paragraph 6: a conclusion paragraph to add to the previous five paragraphs, explaining YOUR OWN point of view on the American Dream and success. Address the following questions:

Which character do you most agree with, Henry, or Henry's father? What does it take to be successful? What does the American Dream mean to you? How has the American Dream changed? Is it still possible to achieve the American Dream? Explain how.

Summarize two aspects of The Great Depression, and how characters react to the circumstances. Introduce and use two quotations from the text which prove your summaries.
