That turned into a pretty nasty encounter, and he was eventually suspended from school by Dave Gratton, the assistant principal.
Three days later he came to school at the end of the day and walked up to Gratton, who was standing at a bus door, and shot him. Gratton reached for the gun just as he was shot, and the bullet struck him in the right shoulder, but he fell to the ground looking pretty dead.
Eduardo took about three steps back from the bus door, pointed the gun at his own head, and pulled the trigger. When nothing happened, the students who had gathered nearby laughed. When Eduardo heard that, he took another two steps toward them, put the gun to his own head again, fired, and fell to the ground dead.

Write a Monologue!
After you have read the above story, look over the following list of names of people who knew Eduardo Rivera, and write a monologue about Eduardo from the perspective of one of the people listed.

Pretend that YOU ARE the character, and that Mr. Flamm is an investigating officer. Your tone should be truthful, helpful, remorseful, boastful, or sad.
